Annual Meeting 2005
On Monday, March 7, the FLW held its Annual Meeting at the Franco-American Hall on Western Ave. After helping themselves to a selection of homemade soups and desserts, attendees watched “So Near the Metropolis,” a documentary that chronicles the history of Lynn Woods, followed by “After ’So Near the Metropolis’,” a slide presentation of pictures taken over the last 10 years.
Awards were presented to Harvey and Winnie Robinson for their many years of devotion in the Rose Garden, and to Boy Scout Troop 34 for the extensive work they’ve done on the trail system.
