This fall we held a couple of successful events.
The Fall Foliage Tour was held on October 13, 2001. The FLW held this event with co-sponsors Lynn Lions and the Lynn Museum. Thanks to the Lynn Lions for providing the buses for us and
refreshments. Thanks to the Lynn Museum for taking reservations for the tours. A special thanks to Ranger Ken Dague for guiding the tours. Thank you to Karen Searles, who was in attendance for the FLW.
We also had Dungeon Rock Day on October 27, 2001, with over 300 people attending. Special thanks to Karen Searles and Jeanette Maes for hosting our FLW table. Thanks also to Jeff Cook, his friend Steve Locke, and Steve Babbitt, who set up the Dungeon and gave tours. Thanks to Ray Maes and Jim Shirley for guiding tours.
At the FLW Volunteers' Cookout/Pot Luck Dinner on October 6, 2001, 22 volunteers gathered for a great time at the Park House as the FLW Executive Board said "thank you." Executive Board Member Karen Searles organized the event and made scarecrow centerpieces, which were given away as door prizes. Stan Cooke donated jars of honey, which were raffled. We would like to thank the volunteers for graciously and generously donating their time this year and Karen Searles for putting together such a great event!
These fall activities would not have been successful if it weren't for these organizations and individual volunteers who help at these events.
