Steve Babbitt Announced as Olympic Torch Relay Runner

Steve BabbittSteve Babbitt, former President of the FLW Executive Board, has been selected as one of the torchbearers for the 2002 Olympics. He was nominated by FLW Board Members and his family for his work with the Friends of Lynn Woods.

From the Salt Lake 2002 Web site (http://www.saltlake2002.com): "The last time the Olympic Flame burned in America was during the 1996 Atlanta Summer Games. This December, it returns to Atlanta for the first leg of the Olympic Torch Relay, a 65-day celebratory tour of American cities on the way to Salt Lake City and the 2002 Olympic Winter Games."
