Membership Meeting
On June 5, 2001, FLW members gathered to hear Leslie Courtemanche talk about birding.
Leslie brought along her favorite bird books and tools, including binoculars and a monocular. She discussed the bird sighting lists maintained by the Massachusetts Audubon Society, printed every Sunday in the Boston Globe (and available online at http://www.massaudubon.org/Birds_&_Beyond/sightings.html).
Leslie talked about the best ways to see birds, including listening to their calls and walking quietly.
