General Information
Dungeon Rock will be open 8:30-2:00 on weekdays and 8:30-4:00 on weekends, on days that Ranger Dan is working, starting around April 17th. If someone wants to bring a group or just be sure it is open, they should call (781) 477-7123 a few days ahead.
On April 12, we did the salamander walk. The salamanders stood us up, but we saw lots of other interesting vernal pool life, frogs, and various arthropods.
Do you want to use the Rose Garden for your wedding? To hold a ceremony at the Rose Garden, you need to write to the Department of Public Works, Attn: Park Commission, City of Lynn, Room 401, 3 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901. Give them the date and time. If it's approved, there is a $100 security deposit (returned after the ceremony) and a voluntary donation. Call 598-4000 X434 for more information. Membership in the FLW isn't required.
