Introduction to Snowshoeing and Snowshoe Adventure

Learn to snowshoe with some help from Eastern
Mountain Sports. EMS will provide the instruction and snowshoes (limited to 20 participants). After a brief lesson we will head off into the woods to practice our new skills. Pre-registration is required if you need to borrow snowshoes. Please remember to wear boots and dress warmly.

Introduction to Snowshoeing and "Woods in Winter" Program

Winter is a great time to observe nature in Lynn Woods. Following a brief introductory lesson in the art of snowshoeing from EMS, the Park Ranger will lead the group into the forest to look for signs of life in the "Woods in Winter". We will take time to stop and smell the hemlocks" so expect a slower pace on this trek. EMS will provide the instruction and snowshoes (limited to 20 participants).
